Authentik's AI Policy

We believe in being transparent with how we use Artificial Intelligence in our work. These tools are incredibly powerful, and as a society we're still figuring out what they mean, so we figured honesty was the best policy.

We are avid users of Large Language Models like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude. We use it as a "Thinking Partner"; our GPT instance, affectionally called "R5", is able to pull up references that we have bouncing in our brains, find competing research on complex topics, and help us better articulate an idea or concept. It can analyze large data sets, and we can upload PDFs and engage in Q&A to make sure we're able to fulsomely understand the content. We also use

We occasionally use DALLE and other image generating software for content in our blog.

We will also use AI for reviewing our work - like a spell-check with a turbocharger - but the content produced is done by a human.

We also use it to help facilitate our Tabletop Exercises, both in administration and execution of the actual training.
